What do I need to use Mellotape?
Mellotape is a soundbank for the Serum VST plugin by Xfer Records, not standalone software. You need an up to date version of Serum (v1.368 or later). It is fully compatible with Serum 2.
Are the wavetables and noises usable outside Serum?
Yes. The wavetables and noise samples are standard .wav files, so you can load them into other wavetable synths like Vital, Pigments, or Phase Plant.
How do I install it?
After purchase you get an instant download. Drop the presets into your Serum presets folder and the wavetables into your Serum wavetables folder. A short install guide is included.
